Nintendo Switch: New Indiegames, seven Piece appeared directly
Axiom Verge 2 is now available for the Nintendo Switch (and PC and PS4) and there are a few new announcements.
Yesterday Nintendo has broadcast a new Indie World Showcase and presented various indie games that soon expect you on the Nintendo Switch - or have already appeared yesterday. Yes, there were some "Shadow Drops," seven plays at the number. Most of them are re-releases. For example, the starting game islander's for the hybrid console is now available for the hybrid console, in which it builds on small islands of cities. Likewise, the Visual Novel Necrobarista (in an extended version), the Dungeon Crawler Boyfriend Dungeon, the Portable Edition of the Unusual Farm Game Slime Rancher and the round-based Rogue-Like Curious Expedition 2 can be found in the eShop.
A completely new game, which was also published for the PC yesterday, is Garden Story. This is reminiscent of the old 2D Zeldas, but you do not play a human hero here, but a grape. In addition, it does not just offer fights and puzzles, but also farm game elements.
The highlight under the "Shadow Drops" is Axiom Verge 2. It was known that the successor to the celebrated Metroidvania from 2015 should appear in the third quarter of this year. That the developer Thomas Happ would publish it this week, did not know yesterday no outstanding. Axiom Verge 2 is not only available for the Nintendo Switch, but also the PC (only in the Epic Games Store) and the PlayStation 4.
In the Indie World Showcase, Nintendo has shown much more. For example, one has introduced Eastward, an action adventure with role-playing elements of Publisher Chuckefish (Stardew Valley). This is about the mine worker John, who finds a girl named Sam in a secret subsoil. Together they go to an adventurous journey and have to fight through some dungeon like puzzles. Eastward will be released on 16 September for PC and Nintendo Switch.
There were also new impressions from Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, which appears in winter, another trailer for round-tactic game Metal Slug Tactics, the announcements of Tetris Effect: Connected and Loop Hero for the Nintendo Switch and new image material from Far: Changing Tides, The successor of Far: Lone Sails.
