The superb adventure game Eastward takes date for September 16th on PC and Switch - News - Gamekul
It was already known: on consoles, Eastward will be an exclusivity for the Nintendo switch. What was ignored on the other hand is that it was about to disembark. Nintendo has indeed announced during its Indie World that the title developed by the London Studio Pixpil Games will be available on its machine - and on PC - September 16th.
In a world falling in ruins, the duo formed by John and the little Sam seeks to escape from an underground society to find the open air, even a toxic threat destroyed everything in its passage. Perilous dungeons in strange villages, this improbable binomial will have to spawn in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity goes out day after day.
Enjoying an amazing realization, mixing Pixel art warm and 3D lighting sublimating all, Eastward has typed us in the eye since its listing there are more than three years ago. To the great classics of the 2D adventure game from the 90s but also Japanese pop-culture, the title of Pixpil Games makes you clear. We only have to wait a little over a month to discover it on Switch and PC, hoping it is as rich and varied controller in hand that this new trailer suggests.
