New World: MMO loses the majority of his audience on Twitch
As it looks like, some players are currently losing interest in Amazon s new MMORPG New World. So the game was still the front rider at both Twitch and the Steam Charts. In the meantime, however, the MMO was replaced by Back 4 Blood as a number 1 of the Steam charts and it even looks much worse on Twitch.
New World (Buy Now 39.99 €) is now on the sixth place of the most watched games, according to the page Twitchtracker. Just three percent of the viewers of the streaming platform have looked at the title in the last seven days, ie about 86,000 people. To publish the title, there were still about 700,000 spectators who could inspire the title. Since then, New World has always fallen from and compared to the last seven days, New World has again lost almost 50 percent of its viewers.
A few well-known streeaers are still expired by the title, such as Shroud. On average, this maintains an audience of just under 30,000 spectators, a large part of New World viewers are currently on the channel of Shroud. Although it does not matter as the streamer stops with New World in the near future, but this should happen at some point, the audience numbers of the MMOS will probably fall seriously.
Although the audience numbers fall on Twitch constant, but the number of players remain at least quite constant. These are no longer approaching the record of all 900,000 players, but in the last 24 hours, the MMO was played by about 500,000 people.
New World definitely has some problems that trigger frustration in players. For example, the free character transfers were recently moved again and there are still some serious bugs. However, if Amazon listens to the feedback from the dedicated gaming player and provides new content for the MMO at regular intervals, New World could be played by many users for a lot of time.
