Today we celebrate the 132th anniversary of Nintendo

Fusajirō Yamauchi (山内 房治郎, Yamauchi Fusajirō, 22 November 1859-- 1 January 1940), birthed Fusajirō Fukui (福井 房治郎), was a Japanese business owner who established the company that is now called Nintendo. Yamauchi lived in Kyoto, Japan and had an other half and also a daughter, Tei Yamauchi, that later wed Sekiryo Kaneda.

Today, September 23, 2021, a new Nintendo Direct will be held. However, this is not all, since this date also marks the number 132 anniversary of the foundation of this beloved company. That s right, was in 1889 when Fusajirō Yamauchi founded Nintendo Koppai in Kyoto, Japan.
