Nintendo is considering the E3

The company says it will share more during the year.

The ESA announced yesterday that the E3 2020 was canceled due to concerns about the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak. This is the first year since the beginning of the show in which there will be no E3. According to this cancellation, companies have hired E3 plans to make explanations on alternative plans. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft have confirmed that they will organize direct digital events to share their plans for the year.

Another company that will probably do is Nintendo. In a statement of a corporate speaker to Gamespot, Japanese Publisher expressed his support for the ESA decision and concern about the virus affected by the virus. Following this, the speaker confirmed that Nintendo after the cancellation of the E3 2020 consider various possibilities to contact fans, and that further details will be announced in the future.

Nintendo supports ESA's decision to cancel this year's E3 in order to protect the health and safety of all in our industry - our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our long-standing E3 partners, said the speaker. We want to express our concern and support for all, which are affected by the Covid-19 outbreak in this challenging time.

We will continue to be flexible and steer our efforts to other ways to keep our fans up to date on our activities and products. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, large industry events can be untenable for the foreseeable future. However, we are considering various ways to get in touch with our fans and will have more to share during the year.

In view of the fact that Nintendo has radiated Nintendo Direct Presentations instead of live conferences for several years, this is not a big surprise. However, you have not yet told whether you do the same in the same window as before the same thing or whether it is planned for your E3 tree house streams replacement.

In relatated news, recent reports pointed out that Nintendo has two direct presentations, which will be broadcast later this month to share their plans for 2020. Read more about this here.

Meanwhile, it has also been found that WB Games intended to introduce several new games on their first E3 conference in June. So far, however, no announcements for alternative plans have made.
